Ive seen some strategy games with nonlinear choice like Rise of Legends and some other small games have done it, but they tend to pad their game by dumbing down the mission quality little bit, and were just not willing to do that. Im getting lot less worried about it. Building on that success, in some places, its like thats pretty cool, that might be better right there. You can talk about whether its innovative enough or whether it would make good GDC talk or whatever, but really want to focus on Is it fun gameplay experience?
Thats cool spell, or thats cool ability. Not everywhere, but in places.
The game is just really fun to play. My cents are that after losing my frozen throne expansion cd and having to play the original release of WC3 reign of chaos for bit, it makes me realize just how much Blizzard can iron out in an expansion. Browder After hold of how long this one is going to take, it would be easier to determine how long the maximum will take, but were still working on this one, and weve never really done campaign like this, right?
take hint from WoW, your very own product, and make the multiplayer content more interesting. And think theyll come around, yknow what mean, when they see it in action. Thats what were trying to do right now. im one of those people who bought WCIII just to play DotA, and ive played nothing else. We just need to that out in front of more people and think at that point esports would be bigger. And they tend to have lot of skirmish missions in the middle as well.
like their multiplayer strategy is only heres an editor, go have fun. why arent they working with the creators of DotA and other popular mods to integrate their ideas into the game before release? .single player is boring as sin. With the dedicated Blizzard team watching real players play the real release they can make such vast improvements after hearing massive feedback from millions hours of user play, that im not too worried about having to shell out fifty bucks for balanced, epic, masterpiece thats polished like diamond.
