The general consensus amongst gamers and from Lionhead is that Fable 2 is going to be bigger, better, longer and significantly more massive than Fable 1 in every way, shape and form.

I think I’m most excited for the achievements, more specifically the “responsible orgy”. I laughed for like 10 minutes the first time I read that one.

The dog as your companion..the ability to play as a man or woman, the ability to father (or mother) children and have them grow up in real time. Downloadable content, awesome weapons, pub games, and of course, as the previous poster said, the hilarious achievements. =]

The design looks spectacular, and I’m so excited to be playing it in just a few short weeks!

Oh, and the addition of Halo Armor and Energy Sword that is available for your character doesn’t hurt either. =P

Yes there will be more heavy armor. Plus, if you order the special edition, you’ll get master chief armor and a Halo beam sword along with in-game content.

A good feature for me is the online co-op that they will patch into the game along with the offline-coop.

I think my favorite feature is the ability of marketing. Peter Molyneux said that the whole world costs 100 million gold but you can buy shops and sell them at whatever price while renting buildings as houses for villagers. When you go offline, the money will still accumulate so when you come back from not playing for a long time, you’ll be a pimp.

A trainable and customizable(ish) dog companion that reflects your character and acts as a radar/mini-map.
you can gain social status (rich characters are looked up upon while poor characters are looked down upon).
guns instead of longbows.
female is now playable.
its set in a fictional post-darkage/pre-scientific revolution era so their may be very little in the way of heavy plate armors seeing as how guns have taken the stage.
course like the first fable not all of these features are guaranteed to make it to the release build

I would definitely say that the dog is the most original addition to fable. The idea of having a tracking device, combat support, and a companion rolled into a furry package sounds pretty awesome to me.

I Love Fable… I cannot stop thinking about, day after day. During school i wait counting down the hours untill I can rush out and run to Gamestop to grab a copy. I cannot wait… I think the most coolest features on Fable 2 are going to be the “Dog” and the ability to choose your sex. I watched some lion head videos on the dog and they say you cannot control at all. There are no buttons to tell it to attack or anything. Controlling relys on complete,and his love for you. The ability to be girl or boy is awsome although i wonder if that will alter diolouge or the story line?

Also I really wonder if you become evil or good, does your dog follow in your footsteps?

sequels tend to most of the time improve on their predecessors in many ways and fable 2 will definitely be an improvement over fable 1 more interactivity, more choices, better graphics, your own family including dog and hilarious achievements. Basically fable 2 is a different type of rpg more cartoony than oblivion, yet still mature with the inclusion of condoms, cheating on spouse, etc . As for the armor, its probably going to be in their but since its a more specific detail of the game perhaps they haven’t said much of it. I like heavy armor as well, I used it alot in Fable 1 so it probably will be in fable 2 and with more variety of the heavy armor.

i have heard that u will a have a dog companion that will sniff out treasure and tell u win danger comes, there is more armor which u can dye in almost every color they say. u also can customize your character male or female hair , hair color and i think maybe skin color there is also co-op that doesn’t make u wait in a lobby but it is a little orb that u just click and your friend is able to play with u they can murder people in your world and every other crime they might be able to murder your family but there might be like a safety option u can also have kids and the kids act just like u
