What happens when a shopkeeper in fable 2 divorces you and leaves region?

Hi, on fable 2, my daughter married the book shop owner in bowerstone market and he divorced her and left the region… now she can’t buy books – what do you do? Is there another book shop? Does he come back?
Any help will be appreciated.

After about a week (ingame) someone will take his place. There are other ones in different places such as traveling merchants. Look for them in all regions.
