What are some details about Fallout 3 and whats the game about?

I have recently became interested in Fallout 3 for the xbox 360 and i was wondering about it.I thought it was a FPS like Halo where you had no freedom,but now i think its gone be like Olbivion but with guns,am i correct?Thanks

    Yea, Fallout 3 is an RPG/FPS like oblivion because its made by the same studio (Bethesda) and they said its going to be running the same engine. Cant wait for it

    This is pretty much gonna be like oblivion with guns. So there will be a whole lot of freeplay. but bethesda has never made a game ive never liked. anyway this game starts you off in a vault and your dad leavs for some reason, so you decide to leave the vault to find out why he left. If you have ever played fallout 1 or 2 you will probobly love this game. I myself have known about this game since it was still in the van buren project back in 2000.
