Take Two Interactive Software Inc., whose subsidiary, Rockstar Games, publishes the title, filed federal lawsuit in Manhattan district court in shortly after the CTA acted.
The CTA felt that, based on the circumstances, it was in the best interest of our customers to remove the ads from the system following some violence in the city, she said.

It alleged that the CTA violated its contractual and constitutional rights by removing the ads, which were timed to appear around the games release on 29. The lawsuit was settled in according to court records, and as part of the settlement agreement, the ads will reappear on buses for the next six weeks, CTA spokeswoman Noelle Gaffney said.
