My Mass Effect for the xbox 360 keeps having a small lag delay when im running through a stage, is it my disk?

Its the game Mass Effect for the 360. Every time I run through the game it has a small lag/delay that can get really annoying. Its not the texture loading.

There was a lot of word going around about the lag in that game. Try some of these:
1. Try playing the game from the disc if you are playing the game from you hard drive.
2. Download the most recent patch. (Connected to internet only)
3. If #2 didn’t work or you already have downloaded all of the patches, try clearing your 360′s cache. This removes all the patches and updates from your console. Of course, all of this can be retrieved again the same way you got ‘em. There’s probably a tutorial how to do this somewhere on Youtube.
