My Brute * Get a Bear or Panther Guide *
How do you get a MyBrute bear or wolf? You won’t get a wolf, ’cause it’s actually called a panther in the game. But anyway…
The trick is that if you join MyBrute as a pupil of someone with a bear or panther, you have an increased chance of getting a special animal. Keep in mind, it’s not a guarantee. You’ll still want to level up – the chances increase as your brute gets older.
The following summary has been compiled using info from CONFIRMED My Brute owners of bears and panthers.
Summary: 1. Start Brutes as a pupil of someone with a bear or panther (IMGame has a Panther). 2. Use different IP addresses (WiFi or friend’s computers). 3. Boys more likely to get bears, girls more likely to get panthers. 5. You must go to level 2 at a minimum – you should continue to level 3 or 4.
EDIT 4/09: GameGod emailed this: “This strategy to get a bear or wolf does work. However, it’s much more effective for first few brutes created per IP address. I got my first bear when I joined under IMGame from my Mom’s house. Then I got a panther (girl brute) when I joined from Panera (WiFi). I have not gotten a bear or panther from my home computer…”

EDIT 4/17: Tinkuls emailed this: “It’s true that Boys ‘tend’ to get bears, and Girls ‘tend’ to get panthers. But not always – I’ve run into many Girls with Bears and Boys with Panthers.”

EDIT 4/30: Last Leg emailed this: “I’m emailing to confirm the IP / home computer thing. I went to lunch for a sandwich and free WIFI and started some brutes – I joined under IMGame. Got a Panther with my 3rd brute at level 3. I have another tip: Brutes that start with VERY low health points are more likely to get bears / panthers.”

Join under a lucky brute. Some brutes are just plain blessed to get more specials. Look at Grape Vine. She has nearly half the bonuses filled at level 22. Pick a master that is lucky.
And yeah, sign up with different IP’s. You should only try out 2-3 brutes per location.
