If I buy the xbox 360 and use xbox live 360, can i download things from original xbox games?

I really need to know because i might get xbox 360 live
i meant content, for example, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (kotor) had downloadable content (armor, blasters, etc.). Can i do that?
I still need a real answer!

   Yes… in the sense that all you can dload from the orginal one is emulators to play orignial games.
