How to add myspace friends to my mafia?

I have a few friends that I know play mafia wars on Myspace. I Click "My Mafia" in the app and I get this thing that wants me to post a bulletin. I don’t really want to post a bulletin. I just want to add a few friends that I know already play. Is there a way to do this?
OK…so I looked more into it. The problem seems to be that my friends list does not show up in my Mafia Wars App. Does anyone know how to get it to?

   I just hit cancel every time it tries to post a bulletin, no biggie.
