How do i upgrade my version of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion to version 1.2?

i went to the elder scrolls official website and downloaded the 1.2.0416 version patch for oblivion and everytime i run it and it is about to install it says update aborted and im not sure what to do…
and my oblivion version is 1.1.425

   If you already have shivering isles, you do not need it.

   Only other thing I can think of, is that it’s already installed.
