Get into Game Testing
Some of these games that kids play today confuse the heck out of me. I stand there and watch literally in awe. How do the people that make these games do it? Well one thing is for sure. Before that game was released, someone was lucky enough to figure out how to get paid to play video games.
All Types Of Games Must Be Tested
As many games as are on the market; that’s how many games have to be tested before public release. PC, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox360… All games that are released had to be tested first. Adventure, action, sports, fantasy and others are being played every day and people are making money doing so. When you think about the billions of dollars that are being made by these video companies it’s no wonder that they are willing to part with, what amounts to, a minimum amount for you to test their games for them.
Show Me The Money!
You may wonder what kind of figures we’re talking about here. Several years ago a gaming magazine quoted the salaries of some game testers. Keep in mind that this was several years ago, so the price has undoubtedly risen significantly. Someone with well over six years of experience in gaming could actually have enjoyed an annual salary of $70,600!
Someone with far less experience might have enjoyed an annual $25,100 salary.
