Can you buy a Xbox 360 Hard Drive without buying a subscription to Xbox Live?

Well, I just bought an Xbox 360 Arcade and I don’t have any 360 games yet but I do have some games from the original Xbox. But it says you need a hard drive to play those so I really need to get one. But everywhere I look they are $100 w/ a 3-month subscription to Live. So, can you buy a new hard drive separate?
sure you can, if you go to Wal-Mart, they have HDDs there without subscriptions, or you can check out EBGames/GameStop to buy a used one. You can also try Ebay if you have an account there.
u dnt have to buy a new hard drive. the refurbished ones work jst as well. i bought a used one from gamestop and its been working great. i bought it for about $60. and i didnt have to buy a 3 month subscription. but just get a used one becuase its cheaper and it works just as good as a new one.
i dont know where to get trials but you can get free month to 3 month codes legally by going to http://www.easyamazongiftcards.com ive been using this site for almost two months and theyve gave me over $180 in games/codes from amazon.com %100 percent free theyve even ship the games free and i didnt have to spend a dime, hope that helps bro
